Mad

MAD By Kalyani Rajalingham World unfair, rejoicing at brawl’s sight, ‘Tis you I moan with bloody tears, ‘Tis you I dare question, ‘Tis you I query, Why rob hope to imprison some to worldly hell? Why drown some with overwhelming sufferings? Why blooms the rose, for the mire to bespatter her life away? Why crucify the innocent for blood spilled by malice’s progeny? Why shatter a tender heart to warmly melt another? Oh unfair world, ‘Tis not me that’s mad!
