I latched on like a babe
in need of nourishment 
a positive role model
when my role
was never model

I need not be gorgeous 
to be fabulous 
and found my beauty in that
M is not for mother
that divine love I

yet never met
M is for Midler
who shaped my

I see you have her forthrightness (is that a word?) and fabulous wit, I think my favorite song of hers is 'Wind beneath my Wings' - love her movies too, not much the Divine Miss M can't do :)
