Lullaby Series Iii

up on the moors, sweet love
shadows dance at dusk.
low across the purple shades
wild ponies whinny
and snuffle steam into brown grass
while curlews cry the sun to rest.

The collection of the three lullabies presents a single romantic theme, Patricia. Very skillfully done w/artistic excellence. Pure poetry. Stellar bright write, my dear friend. Love and more love to you and yours.

You are so encouraging in your comments thank you. I wonder sometimes if my view of the world seems too airy fairy to most. It is what I see.

Reminds me exactly of Bodmin moor in Cornwall...oh how you would love that place, Patricia! With its rocky outcrops and huge granite tors, wide open space, the rushing winds and wild ponies -- your poem fits it like a glove! :) john

I love this one, Patricia. A lullaby scene, most certainly.
