Love's Ember
Memory shrouded in time
Dim Face clouded by time
Fleeting Kiss so sublime
Residual embrace, pantomime
Tendered love a shrine
Amorous tryst longingly pined
Smoldering embers to remind
Fantasies, dreams slowly unwind
Fleeting affair left so far behind
Hopes, aspirations streamlined
Fond reflections kindle fire
Warm feelings run haywire
Emotional flashbacks spark desire
Slowly seething in passionate pyre
Until last cinder doth eternally expire
