Love: The beautiful curse

Love is nothing but a lie, A moment of joy that says goodbye. It blinds the heart, it clouds the mind, Leaving only pain behind. It steals your focus, slows you down, Turns your smile into a frown. It fades, it breaks, it never stays, Just leaves you lost in hopeless days. Like a brand new shining glass, so pure, But once it shatters, there's no cure. It brings more tears than smiles, they say, So stay away, don’t lose your way.

God has favorites—just not me. Some walk alone, while others find a partner in love’s beautiful curse.
