Love Stands
"love stands"
blinded by lights I couldn't see
deafened by noise I didn't hear
lights and sounds altered the course
with clocks ticking we never whispered
only to be two who rode with wind
one fine day the changing weave turned
the path of love has forever changed
helping me see through blinding lights
making me hear through blazing chatter
my world has opened beyond the rainbow
magically I hear and suddenly I see
from the wondrous grace heaven above
with this invitation take now my hand
you have me evermore to have and hold
this moment my promise of love stands
through it all glad am I for our journey
defining sweetly friendship courtship love
