Love of a Wife
She sees him from afar,
And her breath is caught.
She fears all the love and devotion
Have been all for naught.
Tears run down her cheeks,
As her heart slowly breaks.
He leaves her feeling bereft,
And that is all that it takes.
She has given him her heart and soul,
Something that was not returned.
Even though all that he has said and done,
It is his passion that is yearned.
Love is not something found every day,
They will see this in life.
Lamar, don't throw away,
This rare gift you have in your wife.
