Love Not the World
L-ove not the world,
I-n spite of enticement;
L-et the sinful self desires
E-nd on September
T-enth.
A-im not to love the world,
M-an's pleasures pass away;
E-arthly things shall perish,
R-un not the risk of being gray.
I-nstruction cannot be but timely,
C-reator's counsel is hurled;
A-lmighty God stops the evil, so love not the world.
