"Love Might Be a Risk"

If you listen, you will definitely learn
If you ignite it, you just might burn
Can I Love you good this night
Did you muse this write
I don't know
Might
Really slow
The progress in sight
Whether deserved or with spite
Either way we must be very stern
Otherwise, Love will never offer our turn

My friend, love is most often a risk if it is with a new found person. Yet the possible fruits to harvest almost always are worth the gamble. I find your form, flow, rhyme and depth in this poem are all fine. Solid 7 and god luck in that contest. A7

Nice rhyme, Eric. IS this for the contest? I thought it should have same 1st and last lines? Not sure, maybe you can check it...I haven't tried it yet myself...hugs!
