Love Is the Present
In the stillness of the night I write to you , like I always did
From this little room I pick the brightest star , and give it your name.
I think a thousand thoughts , I dream a million dreams ,and all I see is your face.
I wish and dream ,because I know, stars never forget our dreams.
I dream , I want, I yearn, I beg and need .
But you know, love is the moment ! love is today ! love is the Present !
And life ? Life pass us by too soon
like soft nocturnal dew beneath a rose moon glow
that same rose moon which glistened in silence
Which showered your pillowcase with fragrant whispers
and playful feelings of 'I love you ' .
