Unmask this night, let our love transpire A free and wondrous kiss with love's embrace Allow finger's passion to boldly trace As we enjoy our night dreams sweet desire To paint beautiful pictures to inspire The moon's soft glowing light will brush your face Treasured memories time will not erase In dim light of night our love will conspire We'll appease hunger with our mouth's consent With soft whispered words from love's craving song A warm breathless universe to explore Until time has slowed to capture its intent We'll drift away in worlds where we belong Two prisoners in love forevermore contest Form I 2/18/17 Italian Sonnet-ABBAABBA-CDECDE

A beautifully passionate sonnet, Frederic. I know this will do well in the contest! lots of luck and thanks for your visit today. I know what you mean about feeling invisible sometimes even around people who are supposed to know us. it's funny how we can feel most alone in a crowd and so what do we do? We write! That's where we shine...hugs to you, Rhonda
