My love is like the sunrise
on a warm summer’s day.
Clouds from purple to pink
To orange slowly make way.
The rays of light soon appear
with the fading of the night.
The morning air fresh and warm
as day begins its flight.
The sun appears in the sky
And birds begin to sing;
And just like the start of day,
Love’s a beautiful thing.
Like the sunrise my love is fresh,
Colors of every hue;
Bright and warm and full of cheer,
Each day begins anew.
