Love and Forever, Words I Thought of Thee

Love and Forever, Words I Thought Of Thee A time once, when your faithful heart held mine, When morning dew sparkled in your blue eyes, You the banquet - on which my soul did dine Moon in my heart's dancing midnight skies. Love and Forever, words I thought of thee Before death raced forth taking you away Now my sad tears could fill an empty sea You gone, no sunshine in my lonesome day. I seek and fear to never again find, velvet touch, softness of your sweet hand Misery reigns supreme in this tired mind, bringing darkness and drought to this parched land. Time once, when bright sun and moon united, now hell's pain of love long unrequited. R.J. Lindley April 19th, 1977
