Lost Within the Machine
Hey you, looking at your screen,
Lost within the machine
Do you see them?
Hey you, always on the move,
Always have something to prove,
Do you see them?
Hey you, forget all the lies we've been told
Let's Rise above and no longer be controlled.
Hey you, clueless just like me
Always longing to be free,
Will we get there?
Hey you, with your mind always racing
Caught inside your seriousness
Do you love this life?
Hey you, don't we all just want the world to change?
Look into yourself, leave this culture trap
And don't let it derange you.
Though this is only temporary.
We overthink it all
And Take it to seriously.
No matter what we do
It seems we're not so free.
While the rules get drilled into your brain.
Hey you, staring at your reflection
Caught in the endless self inspection
Have your found your purpose?
Hey you, deep within the stress
With life turning into such a mess
Can you see you shouldn't worry?
Hey you, let's come together and help our world suffer less
In oneness we thrive, separate we melt into our distress.
