Lost Valley
Memories of our Faisal Valley
Faisalfields beauty spot of yore.
Golden meadows, farms and wildlife
It was Mother nature’s super store.
Skylarks soaring over green fields
Robins singing in the winter snow.
These precious memories of our valley
That the young folk will never know.
Planners let the builders rape it
With their concrete, bricks and wood.
Building houses like little boxes
Where majestic trees once stood.
Gone the farms and gone the wild life
Gone the fields where we once played.
Our lovely valley’s lost forever
Victim of a town betrayed.
