Lost Love
When life is but a breath from death
And nights grow cold to one as winter,
Shadows hold dominion over less
Than eyes that close to loves true splendor.
Gone un-reflected from the heart
Love weeps its debt left to repay,
Blind to the goodness left to impart
Leaves words alone to God...to pray.
