Lost Love

When life is but a breath from death And nights grow cold to one as winter, Shadows hold dominion over less Than eyes that close to loves true splendor. Gone un-reflected from the heart Love weeps its debt left to repay, Blind to the goodness left to impart Leaves words alone to God...to pray.

I kinda like this too, if I do say so. I seem to keep them on the short and sweet side. I've yet to learn the art of layering on the adjectives. I tend to cut to the chase.don't know it that's good or bad. But it is what it is. I but be greartful for some creative advice. You wouldn't hurt my feelings.LOL PDA Linda

This is a deep write, Charlie ... I like the 3rd line the most. The imagery's heavy ... well done... Linda
