Lost Love

LOST LOVE Tingling passion arose as you came close. Romance rolled to tell ‘we would not stay apart.’ Unfolding your wish you dared to propose. Emotion was entwined from you to my heart. Territory of love was built in vain. Coward in guise of lover came and relation coiled. Love terminated in piercing pain. Engaged once I was devoted, but destiny spoiled. 02/11/16

It sounds like it ended badly. Sorry for that. A tale from the heart.

So sad, Anisha, but your emotions revealed powerfully in your lovely poem. All the best for the contest. Hugs, Sandra
