Lost In the Storm of Life

EXHAUSTE AND TIRED OF THE FIGHT
WHEN DID SHE BECOME SO LOST
 FORFEITING IN LIFE

SHE WORE A MASK TO CONCEAL
ALL OF THE PAIN SHE KEPT DEEP INSIDE
EACH OF THE MARKINGS ON HER SOUL
WERE UNIQUELY INSCRIBED

HER FAVORITE HOUR WAS
WHEN THE CLOCK HIT MIDNIGHT
EVEN SHADOWS OF HER SECRETS
COULD NOT BE DETECTED UNDER A STREET LIGHT

HER DELETERIOUS BEHAVIOR
WAS BEYOND HER CONTROL
HER ONCE WARM HEART FULL OF LOVE
WAS SLOWLY BECOMING GLACIAL AND COLD

YEARNING FOR GUIDANCE
ANYONE TO STOP THE INTERNAL BLEEDING
THAT WOULD SOON LEAVE HER LIFELESS
INEVITABLY DISAPPEARING

AN EVANESCENT MEMORY OF HER FACADE
WOULD BE ALL THAT REMAINED
THIS LOST SOUL WAS A STORM
NOTHING MORE THEN A SHORT LIVED HURRICANE
