Lost In the Moment - a Memory Returns
Art is not an offering
Sacrificing the spirit
But a twinned moment of inspiration
That intercedes the soul
A place of colored reflection
Spilling forth upon the page
Painting a stroke of creation
In silent moments retraced
For in the mirror of time
An endless fire burns
To feed the dancing dreamer
Where silent memories churn
-
Before the artist had finished
And a sweet memory was told
He held the fleeting moment
To ponder the last brazen stroke
