Lost Frost Minichu

Between ice and sun, frost swathe— By the last green floor of life; One white blush— bride's cheeks bathe. From the phantasm spinning gossamer fire This stillness after my lies; On one willow's night— my hooks in desire. Nowhere find A fading chime Plies Between ice and sun, frost swathe— This stillness after my lies; Plies.

A great poem about the juxtaposition of light and darkness, life and death, and the fleeting nature of existence, Hilda.

Woah, this is an incredible minichu poem, dear Paige.. You've really conquered this form and your creativity shines through, so flawlessly, in that last stanza which flows in an elegant way! I like the imagery of ice and sun here, their ambience makes this poem a very intriguing & spellbinding one! "By the last green floor of life; One white blush— bride's cheeks bathe" Ahh that's so beautifully written. I'm awestruck really! A FAV for me, sending you lots of love & light ~ keep shining :)

I appreciate the contrasts and the phrasing of your words. "Lost Frost" was the perfect title, Paige. I especially liked "between ice and sun, frost swathe--and the stillness after my lies." If this was for a contest, best wishes with this entry. hugs, Sara
