Lost

Warfarin wanderer of dark forests Shattered dreams of yesterday Promises forgotten like petals In the wind diatonic chords That no one can process Yesterday’s and faraway Slumbers wake a vision To behold at suns rise Carried through life’s Mysterious endeavors Love and romantic Interludes shockingly Familiar yet leave a Bitter taste on lips Dewdrops on leaves After a summer rain Brisk and unforgettable Yet the rainbow of color Promises of gold At the end empty Hands bare and worn
