Losing You

Losing you once Tore me apart. Losing you twice Was almost death. I don’t know What I would do If I lost you For the third time. I’m taking a chance, Throwing caution To the wind again, And giving you my heart. I have been told that The third time is a charm. Let’s hope that it’s right, Because it’s all we got left. My heart went out to you All those years ago. I knew from the first moment That I’d love you forever. Now it is eight years later And I’m still loving you. Times have been hard on us And things have gone astray. My love for you is Unconditional, Everlasting, And pure. The times have changed, But so have we. I’ve lost you twice, But I’ll always love you.
