LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY CRY LISTENER Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my troubled days Thank You for helping me to choose Your good ways I need You in my weeping-caused despair due to failure case As I admit sadness while languishing in frustrating delays. Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my trial moments Thank You for comforting me when heart laments I cling to You for my bracing-up midst sorrowful torments As I acknowledge Your direction against perplexity-sentiments. Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my times of weariness Thank You for easing me in my painfulness I trust in You while conquering gloominess As I accept Your offered solace with Your graciousness. Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my repentance toward iniquity Thank You for correcting me in my being haughty I cleave to You, honouring Your authority As I seek Your revival for my spirituality. Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my fatigue along tiring endeavour Thank You for empowering me by Your divine fervour I surrender to You my selfishness toward service-savour As I taste Your sweet satisfaction-flavour. Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my bondage to pride’s exaltation Thank You for vanquishing me against vain glorification I submit to You my arrogance toward transformation as Your new creation As I draw near to Your presence of mercy and compassion. Lord God, You are my cry Listener during my meaningful awakening Thank You for refining me with Your sanctification’s pruning I worship You while in You I keep on leaning As I learn from Your Word toward faith’s strengthening.
