Loose Lips

Always be careful to speak unaltered truth For lies will often return to haunt the soul An important lesson learned in our youth, Little attention to truth does take its toll. Besides, to lie is considered most uncouth Destroying credibility, truth be told, Causing a painful strain on relationships Especially when we tend to have loose lips.

I think I'm more guarded in what I say than I used to be. On the other hand, I sometimes have foot-in-mouth disease!

Frederick Siebel a poster maker during War War two was credited for his poster warning soldiers to keep quiet. Using those words. Now your words Milton reflect on the effects on a relationship if not followed. Clever play on these words to bring in your thoughts. Thank you for sharing...

The adage says Loose lips sink ships. But If I'm being truthful, So do big hips! Too hard to keep Who told, what told 'em. Best to stick With the one that's golden. Enjoyed!
