Ocean-Beach

as I look out to sea, I remember how we used to walk the shore with clasped hands; now waves wash ashore old memories. the horizon once held promise for you and me, now I stand here facing the sunset alone, missing you. *not a true write* Submitted for... Edward, I liked this poem so, so much. I live near the ocean. I wrote a poem about the ocean too. Tough and hopeful, peaceful, turbulent, hopeful and sad. It can be emotional to stand "facing the sunset" for me too for different reasons. Knowing the sun will come up the next day is my encouragement. If this poem tells of your love once lost, I am very sorry for your sadness. Your poem is so lovely and eloquent.

Nice one Edward....yes it is always nice if we can share the sunset with someone by our side....but remember the person in your heart they always are with you....All the love.
