Looking On the Bright Side

Remarkable how the sun’s rays brighten the soul Even when the body is aching Giving every reason to look to the cerulean sky When questioning life’s undertaking While searching for what it takes to make us whole The test is to live out our days with reason to extol No matter what around us is breaking But still, there is no harm in asking a bewildered “why” What a tyrant hopes to gain by making War and throwing the world into frenzy, for control.

It must be power; he already has way too much money "there is no harm in asking a bewildered “why”"

That is true. I simply cannot understand why. It's beyond me.

Amazing that the sun comes out over Ukraine - and over Russia too - these days. If we but focus on the eternal, we shall put things in a truer perspective, methinks. Thanks for posting this one, Milt. Light and Joy, Gershon

Thank you, gw. It is true that the sun shines over all parts of the world, but ominous gray clouds also manage to insert themselves from time to time.

I liken life to a party with everyone out to have a good time but you always have one uninvited guest out to spoil it for everyone else. Tom

I've observed that, too, Tom. Always the crashers!
