Lonely Days Ahead

Our times of laughter will disappear
Like sand in a broken hourglass
Our arguments like ragging waters
Will calm into a steady lake
The times we cried like mid-summer storms
Will subside and soon go dry
The moments we spent acting silly
Will grow old and be forgotten
For we are close to parting
And going our separate ways
Memories will play back in our minds
As we live our lonely days
