Loneliness Prevails

We talk and write of loneliness And under this veil I become heavier as I am drawn closer to the earth where I began this lonely journey's start. It is the light I seek and yearn for though in darkness flames ignite. For what I cannot, will not see has known its birth inside of me. In sleep I wake to shrouded truths immersed beneath the sacred ruse. Doors and keys entice my mind to open for the treasured find. Where hearts do break as well as mend and demons know their fateful end. But I'm alone inside my dream to conquer, learn, and build esteem. - A.M Aug. 2018
