Living the Dream
LIVING THE DREAM
As a child, I had a dream
To help lost souls be redeemed
Now that I'm old, with little to do
That dream is finally coming true
For years, I was addicted to drink
Into oblivion, I began to sink
Then by the grace of God on high
On His promises, I began to rely
Today, my life is filled with bliss
The pain and confusion, I do not miss
I tell others in an anonymous setting
How they can be rid of constantly fretting
They can have a life of joy and peace
And put their roaming minds at ease
The greatest joy they can have in life
Is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
What I have described, to some may seem
A rather strange and lofty dream
But it can become a reality
When one knows where they'll spend eternity
