Living In a Shoe Box
Living in a shoe box
It's not much but it's yours
The space you're in is small
The height isn't tall
But you feel so safe there
With the world outside your door
No one to bother you
No one at all
Living in a shoe box
It's not much but it's yours
You don't see much out there
No window or a door
But that just don't bother you
Your happy with it all
Living in a shoe box
It's not much but it's yours
Sometimes you wonder
Is there any more
You think about escaping
But are you really sure
The space you're in is safe
Nothing there can harm
Living in a shoe box
It's not much but it's yours
You'll probably die quietly
Your life will just slip away
You should've made a door way
Seen that life is fun
Much more to discover
Much more could be done
But you're living in a shoe box
It's not much but it's yours
Living in a shoe box
It's not much but it's yours
