Besides helping each other and protecting the environment, why accumulate a fortune as an end unto itself? Scientific facts show Earth gets destroyed when the sun engulfs it. Other really bad things happen before that. Since we represent a tiny blip in the universe, I suggest enjoying each day as the gift it is and helping others do the same. We note that some can accept our complete and total end and some can't. Which are you? Let me know if you like. Smiles!!!

Some know life is short and must end
But that fact has started a trend:
Billionaires seem sure
The wealth they procure
Binds eternal life as their friend 

What buys their time line immortal?
Having a body-parts portal
But rich reliance
On crypto science
Gives us who’ll die time to chortle

Maybe wealth is addictive. Never enough, always craving more. And forever! Life is short and I cringe to think what my heirs will have to sort through if I were to die today. I'm decluttering. and crypto is the furthest from my mind. :)

Hi there! Linda, I think you're absolutely on target. Wealth is an addiction for some...especially those with empty hearts that nothing can seem to fill. It's really the simple things in life and how we relate to each other that matters more than anything else. I say that because I don't think any of our accomplishments last forever. We might as well enjoy each other while we can. Sending you smiles and well wishes on simplifying life. Smart!!!

Very few super rich people will make it to celestial heights. Don't even get me started on crypto stuff!!

Andrea, it is certainly hard to understand that folks with so much material wealth can be so stupid!!! I really find it odd they need to have more and more....it reflects their internal emptiness, which poets can understand.

I'm already getting my affairs in order! Finishing projects, preparing a legacy LOL. Karma comes in the seeds they plow, if they could only hear themselves. The doomsday clock ticks!

Can't disagree, Duke. All your money won't another minute buy. --Kansas "dust in the wind" How is it that a 70' pop group grasped reality better than our leaders? No one has anything for very long--just on loan.

Robert, amazing how reality escapes people in power, and they don't want to share what they have in terms of money and influence. How is it that George Washington stepped down after two terms? Our founders knew a lot about this subject, but many current inhabitants with means don't understand it at all. Smiles!!
