Living a Lie
I look at you,
you look at me,
we look at us, you know,
its not meant to be.
I look at love
and now I see
what once was,
and what's there for me.
And now I find,
I'm living a lie,
something I'll try,
and fail to deny.
I can't see your face
I feel not your eyes,
nor your cold embrace.
My heart is glass,
thin and frail.
Shattering it now
you prepar to bail.
I can't see my hands.
I'm going blind.
You have your life
that you'll go and find.
I can't replace...
What was that you lost?
I'll be reimbursed,
but not without cost.
I find myself
living a lie
waiting for something
that will never go by.
See what you've done?
See what you've caused?
You can't remember
you're just another plause.
A part of my life
that was living a lie.
Something I'll try,
and fail to deny.
