Live, Love, Pray

Live, Love, Pray Hello me! Who am I and what am I about? I think I have all the answers, I believe that, without a doubt. Really? Do I live life to the fullest every day? Do I give and receive love? Do I take time to pray? I am not sure! I must strive to nourish my heart and soul, A state of being that is true and pure! True to myself and others too. Caring for and tending to those that I love, Seeking enlightenment, understanding, praying anew. Only then will I know the true meaning of life. To live, love and pray is the answer I seek, To cast aside doubt, turmoil and strife. Penned by Lilo Groenberg May 2012

Thank you to the Poetry Soup community for your warm welcome. Appreciation to all of my new poet friends who have welcomed me and commented so positively and encouragingly on my first poem. I can relate to what you're talking about. I know myself better than anyone else does. I love the questions you came up with. Being true to yourself and others is when you know you're a great person, friend, daughter...mother someday? Who knows!

Kim, Wasn't quite sure initially how the comment reply mode works so I wish to thank you again for your kind and positive comments. Being a mother and grandmother has provided the inspiration for many of my poems.
