climbing up the oak
on a breezy April morn
age just a number



* photo - still climbing trees at 67 like she did when she was ten


** haven't been feeling very inspired lately but wanted to post something 
     this one is more about the pic than the poem
     girls just wanna have fun - at any age

*** yes I know that line three is a cliche, no I don't care

We had a big gum tree in the backyard that stretched forever with many solid branches after another. I was always climbing it up to the age of 35. It got really scary towards the top! Beautiful haiku!

So many use that cliche in line three. Nothing wrong with that. So kool that you use it here, because it fits perfectly. :) Climbing trees is fun. Big girls enjoy being little girls, sometimes. :) I know I do. Such a wonderful pic and poem. I'm gonna act my age now. Maybe. Hehe

I love it when people don't let age limit them and define them.It's really inspiring and wonderful. Age is really just a number. I read this somewhere, in french they say that I have 'age' years when they tell their age. They don't say I am 'age'. Which is so cool because when you say that I have 'age' years, it means that you have so many memories and life experience of what your age number is. So age is just a number, always keep your heart young. There's no age police :)
