Little Billy Henderson
Little Billy Henderson got himself a notion,
He thought that it sounded like a lark to swim across the ocean.
He was never much of a swimmer but he thought it should be easy,
Unless the waves grew way too big or the wind became too breezy.
So he went and got himself a suit that was appropriate for swimming,
The color would show up well on TV and the cut was very slimming.
Then he packed himself a sandwich that was made of tuna fish,
He also took along a garlic pickle because it was delish.
With a confident wave to the media Billy waded into the sea,
Entering into the grand adventure with an abundance of childish glee.
No one ever saw poor Billy again and there’s no need to pretend,
When a couple of hours later they learned how he'd met his end.
After a fisherman caught a shark he learned that fate could be fickle,
Because the shark’s breath smelled like tuna fish and a garlic pickle.
