Li'L Odyssey
one
early morn
packed a lunch
for him 'n me
bent on
escaping bored ennui
/ map in hand for odyssey \
/ a thermos of hot chai tea \
/ my cat sitting on my knee \
/____________________________\
/set out on my rowboat across the sea\
/ where the winds were wildly flying free \
/ left behind a world of folly and anxiety \
row to seek out whimsy and serenity and row
boat if I’m lucky a bit of absurdity boat
