I went around the boarder of Canada and London
I found groups of dogs like they were my own
I’ll start with my mother’s pet at home
No other than Jumbo, the finest of all, now alone
Jumbo was so sweet, other times refused to eat
I thought he’d like chicken at MacDo or pizza of Greenwich
I found five more dogs at neighborhood
Owned by my younger brother, a hard working dude
Perina was his special German Shepherd Puppy
Very naughty to catch my feet, so I couldn’t walk away
Goldador Migo barked at other strangers, he’s my favorite
I hope he’ll not be sold for howling, digging or being strict
Cindy’s features resembled Jumbo and Migo
But she loved collecting their left-over foods up to his paws
Buddy looked like a German Wirehaired Pointer
He loved strolling around, stays home only at dinner
Gusting was the oldest, moved to a new house with my brother
Took lots of chances of greeting me, a real attention seeker
These five dogs were well-disciplined
Remained seated during food partition without complain
Among them, Migo got my huge admiration
Seated in crossed legs while partition was going on
He danced without music holding my hands
I wasn'tt stranger to him, his victim was so stunned!
Moving on to my cousin’s place, at my dearest friend and sister’s
Had her piggy doggy Alaska, the fattest I’ve seen in that boarder
Alaska was a mixed breed of Finnish Spits and Goldador
Like a man when sleeping, she loudly snores
My last joyful tour was at the house of my cousin’s brother
OMG! Four more smart dogs were waiting for me there!
I first met Winter, a big Siberian Husky
I felt I was at parachute to touch a breed I’d dreamt to see
Their Terrier Puppy, Summer also liked me
When I cuddled him, he licked my fingers naughtily
When my attention was with the two
Valdo stretched his harness reaching me out with his paws
I took them both but he gave me one
And we ended up shaking hands
Valdo was like a clever politician
He introduced himself as the Mayor of Dogs Town
This scene was the most amazing
Relatives who have seen us were laughing
While the last mutt, Yogi shyly curled down his tail
Looks as if he wanted to cringe, was he scared?
As I waved my hand at him something came into my mind
Perhaps he’d traumatic experience, so I’ve to understand
He was once a pet of my cousin who went to Dubai
Giving him for adoption was kind of rejection, am I right?
No matter what the reason was, Yogi didn’t bark at me
Perhaps he liked me too, tamed pet like other doggies
My tour around the boarder was a lot of fun
Perhaps all doggies thought I was a Veterinarian

A poem written for me in remembrance for those lovely dogs
-I wrote this remembering all pet dogs in our family circle. Perina and Summer are no longer puppies. Pictures were sent to me. So sad to hear that the owner sold Cyndi last Nov. 1, 2017. I wished I was there to stop him. I’m in tears now.
