Like a Rock

Like a rock
loved and adored
Touched
Watched
Imagined
Sculpted
Carved into the most majestic sculpture
A presence sought after
Solid and strong
The perfect figure
The perfect rock
Like a rock
solid and strong
Firm
The weight of the world
Like a rock
Crushed into a million pieces
Broken
Nothing but dust
Kicked into the curb
Blown into the wind
Into the world
Into what seems like nowhere
Like a rock
Solid and strong
Cold like stone
Broken and crushed
Turned into dust and blown away
Into nowhere
Obliterated
Scattered into a million pieces
Into nothing
Like a rock
Poof
Nothing
