Like a Hot Potato, They Pass the Buck

      The old ‘Pass-Punt-Kick’ contest
        misappropriated by politicos
     You’re familiar with the stereotype
the kind who check which way the wind blows

Like a hot potato they pass the buck
If asked a tough question, they punt
And when a financial decision looms, they
kick the can years down the road

So, fans, it seems we have a winner
535 Congressmen, each and every one a sinner

That's the first time I've heard reference to that pass-punt-kick contest in a long time. I was in one of those in about 1965. For a little guy, I wasn't bad at punting. Maybe, I coulda had a future in politics.

Yep. Then they collect fat paychecks and tell us how much they did for us at the next election. Sad part is most folks continue to vote the same ones in.

It does seem a game to them, both playing defense, the fans don't get their monies worth! By the way I appreciate the backup vs the TDS patients!
