LightHouse and The Light

LightHouse and The Light I was lost in life many times As I drifted with the winds Trying hard to keep my faith The darkness sometimes wins. But through the cliffs of sadness And the sharp rocks of despair, Prayers found me in the dark My mother was standing there. She did not walk on water But she taught me how to swim, Her fire burns inside of me And that flame will never dim. She turned into an angel And protects me every night, God May be my lighthouse But my mother is the light.
