Light Uncontainable
It is said, while he sat with his disciples gathered about
He asked them, “Who do men say that I am?”
Knowing well the answer, yet, he lead them on
Waiting to hear from their lips what they truly believed
Peter, filled with the Spirit answered in turn
“You are The Christ, Son of the Living God.”
I imagine at that moment all of Heaven bowed down
For He is Light, uncontainable with no beginning and no end
Holy, omnipresent, he is everywhere at any time
Everything ever made came into being by His word
He gave names to his creations in earth and sea
Each one with a purpose, and an order in time
With that said, no way can Jesus fit in a box
When he chose to come and die for all mankind
The young and old, the wealthy and poor;
Black and white and the shades in between.
