Light of Wisdom
Blest of God in the morning
The sun is brimming wide
With Jesus by one’s side
Brave and beautiful dawning
Arise and stretch
The holy scroll
From East to West
Unlock, unroll
Thrill of God in the twilight
The Word of sparkling dreams
A matchless night it seems
Soaked in Bethlehem starlight
In peaceful sleep
The dove oft speaks
A trill so deep
Awakes the weak
Years thus sown in the binding
The pages burning bright
Ancient the quotes weaved right
Light of wisdom ‘tis blinding
