Light of Life
A light shone round our Saviour's head,
The light glowed from inside.
A beam of light shone from the sky,
When he took his final ride.
The light of God, is light of love,
It bathes all humankind.
The flames of hell, this light repel,
And soothes the troubled mind.
To see the light, with human eye,
Is open to us all.
It cleans the spirit, warms the heart,
And lifts us when we fall.
Reflect the living light of life,
And make it shine out bright.
For light that shines straight from our soul,
Will clear our darkest night.
