Life's Trials

LIFE'S TRIALS
Dear Lord, please don't mind if I complain
Just to you I expose my pain
For I know you understand
And all that happens is in your plan

Some days it becomes a bit too much
And I am not expecting such
So I again complain to you
Wondering about what I go through

Yes, I realize the total sum
Are just to help me overcome
And yet while I go through it all
Upon your strength I need to call

Sometimes it leads me to distress
And I can hardly do my best
To accomplish what I need to do
So for greater faith I call to you

In my heart I know for sure
That others often must endure
A harder time of stress and pain
So I should learn not to complain

Yet as I learn to trust you more
I know within me you will pour
A stream of more unselfish love
To share with men from God above
