Life's Mountain
To yon who scale
Life's rugged mountain path.
Until hours, alongside hours,
Form up the day.
Enduring pitfalls, and oftentimes,
Others wrath,
Whilst clinging steadfast,
To hope's subtle ray.
Ever upward,
Remains another plateau,
Beyond vision,
Temptation's snare is placed in wait.
Expect momentarily,
For some ill wind to blow,
But be assured, beyond view,
Is Heavens Gate.
