Life's Destiny
LIFE'S DESTINY
When the tide of life goes out
Like the waves upon the sea
One must be certain of eternity
Lest they have lived in a life of sheer guilt
Should that be the case, then one should hasten
To have their sins forgiven
For if this is left to chance
Their destiny will become perilous
Consequences then will be their downfall
Yet it could have been different for them
They could have sought forgiveness
And made changes in their life
A life of peace, happiness, and great joy
But pride held them back and cost them a price
Although the price had already been paid
My question for them is why
They remained lost 'til they die
When the death knell sounds the time is too late
They can't ask the angel of death to wait
And they will not enter the Pearly Gate
My advice is don't delay
Get life in order today
