You grazed my heart
With tender wings
Flying high above the things
That caused me
Pain or stings
You prayed a peace
Through my dreams
Awakening love to extremes
That enlightened me
With babbling streams
You soothed my faith
With sure belief
Pledging grace, never grief
That flowed through me
Such sweet relief
You raised my hopes
With love that breathes
Affection and joy that seethes
In whispers of light
Reassuring life in wreathes
You welcomed my kindness
Through feelings of peace
Intimacy that always does increase
By the time serenity agrees
To forever find a release
You gave me a chance
To give from my very soul
Inspiration and insight that stroll
Through this life of mine
With love that makes me whole
You whispered compassion
Through my jubilant, laughing light
Shining through the dark of night
Bringing brilliant rays of faith
With a brilliant hue, so contrite
You smiled away my worries
With assurance that I am strong
Filled with wisdom and song
Living out my aspirations
With feelings blessed all lifelong
