Life Treasure

Life treasure

The blue gown she wears hide the sign that she is with child
Eight month now, but she doesn't have that much stomach
She is depressed due to a lot of pains
She is enduring. Women worthy of pamper with care all the time
They are as fragile as an egg
Carrying a child for nine months with
Lot of pains they endure Is a long journey----------journey to the Heaven and Earth
Taking care of a female or woman
One indeed taking care of a nation
They are more then precious because they are life treasure

A woman was the mother of the SAVIOR. The Son of God given Rule over the entire Universe. Great poem , women are to be respected for they give birth and nurture . A7.

I appreciate the respect your poem shows for woman and her role. Nicely done. Thank you for your comments on my poem which was written for a contest. Thus the subject which is hardly my usual style. Love, Joyce

It is so true, they are the future and indeed a treasure. There is nothing that can compare to giving birth to children. Lovely Afolabi!

Indeed, Afolabi, giving life to a child is a treasure and a miracle in itself. After the sweat comes the sweet reward! Well done! // paul

Beautiful sentiment. It's a miraculous thing what the female body is capable of, and I've never admired my wife more than the day she delivered our precious daughter. Pregnancy is a difficult journey, but oh how great are the rewards? Thank you for this sweet reflection.
