Life Started From Sadness

Life started from sadness, a conceivable future blight; a flashing lightening gave indication a storm formed, challenging days lacked their needed warmth and light, to whom I ran when trees started to fall on the road? Powerless and defeated, I sought His face that glowed. No other youth besides mine was stripped of necessities, only a few were the pleasures and the allowed liberties. Paternal strict rules were a denial of true affection, without a free will I wasn't allowed to mutter words; maternal love was that embrace to soothe affliction. Written on 5/17/2016
