Life Is a Lover
It's life that weaves feathers into wings
The weight of its measure balance the scale
Allows me to feel and see what it brings
With reverent breath, I slowly inhale
My eyes perceive rainbow colors abound
By painted splayed light from closest warm sun
My minds a fragile web, woven around
To flutter in winds when seasons are done
Life is a lover, embraced till' the end
As eyes caress mountains with splendor's view
My time through life's meadows slowly descend
Another like me will be born anew
With moist eyes of awe and wondrous surprise
I find life my lover, each day I rise
